Hi there!

I'm currently putting together the 1990 chapter of the Your Sinclair Rock'n'Roll Years Documentary (http://www.ysrnry.co.uk/tvprog/) and could use a little help.

I'll be briefly covering The Hobbit computer, and Your Sinclair magazine mentioned that there was a Hobbit games console - but didn't print a photo of one!

Does anyone have a photo of the Hobbit games console that I can use in the documentary, please?

Many thanks,

Nick Humphries.

Thankyou for those, but that's not what I am looking for. Your Sinclair mentioned a Hobbit games console - a machine which didn't have a built-in keyboard (although you could plug in a keyboard if you wanted). All the clones I've seen photos of so far have keyboards.

Not the Hobbit, but Alf was the ZX-based game console. But it was without external keyboard. It was made on Т34ВГ1 chip.

That could be it, thank you!

Found a very small photo of what I believe Your Sinclair saw in 1990 - I've put that in the 1990 documentary which I just released.

You can see the 1990 documentary here - the console pic is at 8m00s:

You can download the 1990 video yourself from http://www.ysrnry.co.uk/tvprog/downloads.htm#1990

I do not have the magazine, but the headline was from the cover of "New Computer Express", issue 104, cover dated November 3rd 1990.

As New Computer Express was published by Your Sinclair's publisher, I think this is the console which one of Your Sinclair's Hobbit articles referred to.
