I have problem with insert image to post. I not understand this:

How do I add an image to a post? (http://zx-pk.ru/faq.php?faq=vb3_reading_posting#faq_vb3_attachment s)
If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed. (http://zx-pk.ru/faq.php?faq=vb3_reading_posting#faq_vb3_attachment s)

What arrow need click ???:confused:

Why attached image is smaller than uploaded after click on them?

А в самом деле, как? Переключаю в Личном кабинете редактор из Стандартного в Расширенный - ничего не меняется. То ли нет функции Расширенный, то ли она запрещена. Переключатель работает, Простой редактор включить можно (интересно, произвольный код в Простом редакторе вставить можно? В Joomla! можно, вся фильтрация ключевых слов отключается, весь текст становится как код).
Вижу пока решение только как через Личный кабинет найти своё вложение-изображение, скопировать полный URL его и вставить как будто внешнее изображение. Сейчас попробую так вставить одно из своих старых вложений (фото магнитофона Маяк-232).

Arrow, arrow, arrow - what arrow, I think ?? :-)

No need click any arrow. Simply need click icon Attachments in toolbar and select attached file from drop down list :-)

OK, now understand, small misunderstanding with arrow :-)

But why image in this post is small after click him? http://zx-pk.ru/showpost.php?p=604685&postcount=124

IMHO, the best to place picture to outside server and public it with IMG-BBcode.

For big pictures use http://www.radikal.cc/ or http://savepic.ru/ or any hosting of photos.

Convert your picture to jpg (not jpeg) - will be max "jpg 97.7 Кб 800 600".

Right for .jpg is about 97KB available but have suggestion. JPG format is good only for picture from digital camera.

For PC ScreenShot better use is .PNG format. JPG make some blurs and not true colors :-)

I suggest increase size e.g. to about 100KB also for PNG use for attached images.

To insert full-size pre-loaded image-attachment into body of message:
Go to User CP -> Miscellaneous -> Attachments.
Find your old picture, copy URL.
Insert image as outside image with IMG BBcode.

Sorry but 19.5KB is not really size to make 800x600 image in popular tools like Windows MS Paint, IrfanView etc. for save PNG format without noticeable loss of quality.

800x600 default settings:


MS Paint png - size 1,05MB
IrfanView png - default compression 6 - size 884KB
IrfanView png - max compression 9 - size 879KB

Sorry but 19.5KB is not really size to make 800x600 image in popular tools like Windows MS Paint, IrfanView etc. for save PNG format [u]without noticeable loss of quality.
It highly depends on image content. If it is not some kind of photo then the size will be much smaller. For example I just have created screenshot of my double display system and result PNG file of resolution 3840x1080 is only 178404 bytes. Used IrfanView to save the file.

Yes, of course you right but limit 19.5KB is some too little i think :-).

It would be great if the limit PNG has been increased to ~97KB like for JPG :-)

unfortunally, this filesize limits won't change. but maybe i wrong :)
