Tournament in Speccy games

Sorry if I made an crosspost, I didn't know for RST#38, so I already posted similar info under 'Games'... so 'enhanced' info starts here:

This year, Tour starts on 16.October, and lasts 8 weeks. All info on:

If you have any questions, suggestions... be free to ask :smile: I hope someone from ex-USSR will take part on ST06 :v2_smile: We will (somehow) translate all instructions for emulators (recording & playback) and ST06 games if you show some interest!! In past we did it for players from Spain (and now they made 50% of participants).

As I said, Tour starts 16.October, but that's not deadline for sign up, you can join ST06 up to 29.October!

For needs of Tour (recording and playback of scores in games, as Tour's judges have to confirm scores), we use certain emulators:
Spectaculator - for Windows platform;
Fuse - for Unix platform; and
Real Spectrum - for DOS/ old Windows platform.

First two makes RZX recordings, while Real Spectrum works with AIR files. I wrote this, as I guess someone will ask why not Unreal Speccy... due to lack of playback files...

Also we're looking forward to include some 'Russian Speccy Games' but in that intention we need your help... ask/suggest... I'm here :smile:

I think that Kolobok Zoom 2 is very cool game for tournament.

Agree about Kolobok 2. Ask here again about the game, if it couldn't be found with "usual methods" via Internet.

Woow, what a nice game! In some aspects better then Bubble Bobble :smile:
Now, I have to see how is supported recording RZX files with disk readings, I'm afraid there can be problems...

The best situation is when whole game is in memory, so single Z80 snap is 'base' for recordings. Do you have any suggestions in that way?

Multi-load and disk (frequent reading) games can cause problems in playback, needs good testing before Tournament. Anyway, хвала за леп предлог (thanks for nice suggestion)!

Hmm... Serbian language not far from Russian. What word "овако" means? Please write this word in English.

But, rules for this section of the forum - to write here in English. Try to talk with administration about creating new sections, with other (not Russian or English) languages, in this forum. May be it is a good idea...

PS And it is not easy to understand Serbian, that we never learn.

The most part of community of this forum - Russian and Belarusan (Belarusian, Belorussian, Byelorussian) people. Some times Englishmen comes to this section. And we will glad to see more Serbians here.

One interesting moment... Strange as it is, our tournaments here refer to GAME programming, and never GAME playing. There is some deeper meaning within, that's for sure...
