ZX Notepad. Which one??
 

Dear friends,

I would like to have the same program on speccy as NOTEPAD on PC (like in Total Commander).

Is there any such program? Which would you recommend?

Not only for writing/reading texts, but maybe also with HEX/DEC editor, or some other functions.

yes, but BV is only for reading:(. I would prefer one also with ability to create easy texts, and it does not have to have a hex editor.

and is ZX WORD able to work with plain txt files? It means load and save them?

You may found it here "http://trd.speccy.cz/system.htm" in "Текстовые редакторы:" section. AC Edit, for example. But i'm not sure about HEX/DEC :(

use ZxAsm3.10+STS ;)
ZxAsm - macroassembler and text editor
STS - disasm/debugger and HEX-editor

ZxWord, Modern Word, AC Edit.
It's just a text editors.

Use BK Write v4.
I am use only him.
It supports the tape and the Beta128 disk.

Yes. It works with Beta128 disk only.

General, then TC is responsible for viewing the program connected to the F3, and for editing F4.
Thus, F3 ~ BestView, F4 ~ ZXWord, AC Edit, etc.
HEX Edit ~ STS, ZxAsm3.10 (+ Disk Edit+Monitor).
