I would like to ask some help.

I have an old russian video game, called "Turnir." (I attached a photo.) I bought it some weeks ago, but unfortunately it has some problem(s). I would like to repair it, but I have no information about this game. I've spent so many time searching and searching, but no success.

But without Russian knowledge I can't register there and ask the seller to scan the documents and upload somewhere.

Is there anybody here who could scan a circuit diagram and/or a user manual and upload somewhere, please? I would be very happy. Thank You very much in advance!

The problem: no picture and no sound. There is only one sign of life: when I turn on the video game, the screen of the tv turns black.

I attached some more photos. As You can see the IC is AY-3-8500-7.

There is a part of the modulator, we don't understand. I marked it with a red circle on photo #3 and #4. On the photo #4 You can see it better, that the 2 cables are connected to each other and we don't know why? The more interesting is, that it seems to be original, because the soldered parts are marked with that green substance.

The main difference between IC К145ИК17 from AY-3-8500 is used in К145ИК17 entry to choose the game with one button (when you click on it the game are changing in sequence), and the AY-3-8500 - six separate outputs for connecting rotary switches, which turn and will select the game (or multibutton switch with a dependent fixation). On this basis we can conclude that one of the earliest Soviet consoles - "Турнир", which appeared in 1978, probably is not installed chip К145ИК17 and AY-3-8500, as the game it is chosen such that multibutton switch (with four instead of six positions, as fotopistolet in "Турнир" is missing).

In the photo hard to see what was on the loop, but if it is short-circuiting, then clearly, this is not normal and the TV did not show, try to remove it.
I hope you know that the prefix should be connected to TV antenna input and to scan the channels to find the channel where it should show?

By the way, modern TVs do not have problems with attachments on К145ИК17.

Yes, I know it and I tried the console(s) that way. Hmm... I think, I will buy an old russian or hungarian tv for sure. Those are very cheap, nearly free.

By the way, I have good news: one of Your member, Panther scanned and sent me a user manual and circuit diagrams. I would like to say Him a very very big thank You! I think by the documents We'll be able to repair this old console.
