Sinclairean is a new ZX Spectrum emulator written in machine code for x86-compatible, OpenGL-capable computers.
Features:
* Fast machine code performance
* Accurate and pleasant CRT display emulation
* Full screen mode without either artifacts or chunky pixels
* Smooth, stable screen updates and 50 Hz conversion
* Advanced development tools/display monitoring
* OpenGL display trickery and eye candy
Notice
The emulator is still in beta development stage, so your mileage may vary. Please take into account the following issues:
* It still depends on SDL (included)
* Z80 core is not 100% translated to machine code yet
* Windows is the only OS supported at this point
Usage
Sinclairean can be run either from Windows Explorer or from the command shell. A .sna or .tap file can be supplied as a command parameter, can be dragged-and-dropped onto the application's icon, or can be "Open With"-ed. Snapshots are executed instantaneously but tapes are just prepared; you'll still have to type LOAD "" to load'n'run the game

* F2 Zoom screen out
* F3 Rotate screen anticlockwise
* F4 Rotate screen clockwise
* F5 Toggle CRT aperture grille emulation on/off
