Kono sekai wa kusatte iru!
Hi!
First of all, sorry for not using Russian language. I don't know Russian, but I do know Spanish, English and Catalan. So I navigate this forum by using Google Chrome + Translate
My name is Cesar Hernandez, and I've been using Sinclair machines since 1982: first a ZX-81, then a Speccy, after that, a Sinclair QL, two Inves Spectrum+ and a Spectrum +2A. All these machines when I was a kid/teenager.
After some years I have some other Spectrum and 8-bit related machines: Z88, CPC464.... I have also a ZX-Uno, a Spectrum Next (ordered but not received yet), and the last week I have just ordered a ZX Evolution.
For those who doesn't know me, I even created two Spectrum emulators: ZXSpectr, which was started on 1996, for ms-dos machines, and written in Assembler.
And more recently, the ZEsarUX emulator:
https://github.com/chernandezba/zesarux
Written in C Language, open source and free (gratis), and can run in Linux, Mac, Windows and other Unix machines.
It emulates all the Sinclair machines:
MK14
ZX80
ZX81
ZX Spectrum
QL
Z88
And also:
Timex TS 2068
Sam Coupe
Pentagon
Chloe 140 SE, 280 SE
Chrome
Prism
ZX-Uno
ZX-Evolution TS-Conf
TBBlue/ZX Spectrum Next
Jupiter Ace
Amstrad CPC 464
Last days I have focused on improving TSConf emulation, it's still in beta stage but growing quickly You can see the last improvements in the following video:

Cesar
Greetings!
I am in a similar situation to Cesar right above, but I know even fewer languages -- only English. (However, I can program in many different languages. And that is what matters, correct? )
The first computer I was exposed to is a GRIDcase 1520 laptop, with a 286 processor running MS-DOS, back in 1990 or 1991. (I was only 5 years old!) My parents got me a Tandy 1000 PC clone just so I would get off my father's work computer. This turned me into a PC guy -- sorry, no Speccy usage for me growing up! As I got older, I tended not to get rid of older systems. Thus, by now, some of these things I grew up with and kept are now desirable vintage systems. However, I started purchasing vintage systems about three years ago after fixing up an old IBM 5150 PC that was sitting in my mother's garage for about 20 years. While I did not have to buy the system, of course, I did have to go shopping for parts that would hopefully bring it back to life. There are still enough stores in my area to do this without having to shop online for much. The thrill of getting something so old to work is appealing to me. And, so is collecting computers with different CPU architectures, as diversity of hardware is very interesting. After all, I studied computer architecture and engineering in college.
Anyway, I was led here by the vast amount of information on the Elektronika DVK-3 (Электроника ДВК-3) in the forums. Just as I was thinking of ways to expand my collection to machines made beyond the West, one of these machines came up for sale in a forum I regularly visit. Long story short, I imported it and got it working, with many thanks to Google Translate. Now I would like to learn from those who have been around these systems for a while about how to make it great. Meanwhile, maybe I can share some of my knowledge on Western systems as well.
Best wishes,
Stephen
