SMUC IDE PORTS on SCORPION

Will work Scorpion with SMUC IDE ports only ?
I need use virtual discs on HDD on SCORPION, but only IDE ports(same as in SMUC) can be used. Other features from SMUC absent. Is this problem ?

Yes. Problem may be with detecting SMUC if corrupted port FFBA (NVRAM). And this port also used for switch CS0-CS1 signals for HDD.

No problem :)
Have a look at this schematic (discrete almost analog of CPLD). Look at DD8 (FFBA)
