Jon Ritman was always someone I used to look for when I bought games. I knew that if I could find a Jon Ritman game it was going to be of high standard. In this video, we will look at all of his games with some nice music that I have on the Commodore Amiga(strange I know, but it works)

'Match day' is my favorite game perhaps. When I was in school spent a lot of time playing it. So many of my classmates spent free time organizing real championships with each other. What a wonderful time it was!

"I did have a lot of fun - one of the best memories was writing that AI for Match Day, I kept putting it off until I just had nothing else left to do because I was scared of it. Finally I had to face the task; the first 10 lines of code did this:

if the nearest player to the ball has the ball in possession then
Kick the ball up the field
else
Run toward the ball
end if

I started the game running and those 10 lines scored in the first 20 seconds, I was crying with laughter and relief."
