Eye Ache 2 on Pentagon 48

Hi,
a while ago I designed this board (https://zx-pk.ru/threads/29992-pentagon-48k-expansion-which-features-make-sense-kakie-funktsii-imeyut-smysl.html) for Pentagon 48 computers, which adds 128K RAM and adjusts the timing to Pentagon 128. So far it has been working nicely (Rage, Across the Edge, etc.). Only issue I encountered was with Eye Ache 2, the demo works, but whenever the disk drive gets accessed the demo slows down considerably (running at something around 30%) - I'm not a coder and therefore can't trace the issue. Does anyone have any ideas what might cause this?

It's because of the demo needs right interleave of sectors on diskette - it should be standart interleave 2 (sector numbers on diskette track: 1,9,2,10,3,11,4,12,5,13,6,14,7,15,8,16). With fast (turbo) interleave (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16) the demo can not get in time do its visual effects before reading of next disk sector, so it waits full turn of the diskette to read next sector. So you should format your diskette for the demo with normal (not turbo) option to avoid the demo slow down.
