Test your PC keyboard

Please test yout PC keyboards in ZX emulator. Searches for the appropriate keyboard for real ZX Spectrum / ZX emulator.

All three pressed keys must by signed on screen. If any of this keys combinations work incorrect(any key is ignored), then your PC keyboard is not useful for using with emulator or connect to real ZX(with PC keyboard interface). Please inform me about error signed combinations and write type of tested PC keyboard.

(my old PC keyboard CHICONY with microswitch key buttons work absolutly perfect with all this combinations :v2_thumb: , only cursor keys+0 is impossible use :mad: )

Does no work:
LEFT+UP+0 and RIGHT+UP+0- toggles color on/off
LEFT+DOWN+0 - toggles on 1 5 6 0 CS and V keys
RIGHT+DOWN+0 - -//- 6 8 0 CS X V
1+4+5 and 2+4+5 - only 2 keys works, 4+5+some keys = many zx keys pressed
same with
Q+R+T
W+R+T
A+F+G
S+F+G
Z+V+B
X+V+B
I just love these keyboards =)

Это абсолютно нормально (я так понимаю тестровалось в UnrealSpeccy с Matrix=1), так вел бы себя и реал.

GENIUS KWD-820 - same results.

Могу кинуть раскладку одной древней клавы, по ней все сразу видно что не будет работать (как показала серия опытов, при возникновении ситуации описанной в этой (http://zx.pk.ru/showthread.php?t=8068) теме, PC клава не обрабатывает нажатия клавиш, которые приводят к этой ситуации).

Например: нельзя нажать 3+4+5, 9+4+5, 3+7+6, 9+7+6, ну скажем, D+K+I и так далее...

Yes, 3+4+5 is possible use, but I need test all combinations used in game controll (sinclair 1, sinclair 2 etc...)
3+4+5 = down+up+fire -> this key combinations is not used in games.
Is useless test any combinations of reverse directions (up+down or left+right)

SINCLAIR 1 need only this combinations:
6+8+0
6+9+0
7+8+0
7+9+0

SINCLAIR 2 need only this combinations:
1+3+5
1+4+5
2+3+5
2+4+5

QWERT conrol (PSSST game) need only this combinations:
Q+E+T
Q+R+T
W+E+T
W+R+T

QAOPM control need only this combinations:
Q+P+M
Q+O+M
A+O+M
A+P+M

QAOP SPACE control need only this combinations:
Q+P+SPACE
Q+O+SPACE
A+O+SPACE
A+P+SPACE

etc.......

Many modern PC keyboards use same key matrix(membrane layout), but not all !!! USB keyboard for MACINTOSH work without problem, support all this combinations.

Testing of PC keyboard continue on some other ZX forums. We neew know keyboard running in ZX emulators without problems. I plan also connect LAPTOP keyboard to ZX (this keyboards contain only keys+membrane with contacts - without next electronic, don't need protocol)

Please test your keyboards, I need know PC/laptop keyboards which accept this combinations.

Big parts of PC keyboards have problem with this combinations: (please test all combinations and release result + model of keyboard)

for my acer laptop have the following ghosting for:
Upper numeric keys : 1+3+5 , 2+3+5 , 2+4+5
and
Q+R+T, W+R+T

Laptop keyboards TOSHIBA SATELLITE use very good membrane matrix and is possible press three keys in ZX games. More info here:
