I already thought about that. But there are some difficulties. Firstly, I now use only emulators (Unreal, Fuse, Xpeccy) and therefore I don’t quite understand how this LCDgigascreen will work on real.
Therefore questions:
1. In the LCDgigascreen mode, are the colors and pixels of the rows of the 1st and 2nd screens mixed or alternated without mixing? That is, how many pixels on the Y-axis should be counted ? On 192 with extended brightness and color palette, or 384 with a double comb of standard attributes?
2. If the lines are not mixed (384 pixels in Y), then how to choose which of the lines will be the upper ? Of 1st or 2nd screen.
3. How will LCD-TV behave if the interruption does not change the screens but changed the color attributes or part of the picture of one screen?
Secondly, the structure of the BGE editor itself is such that this mode is not so easy to push in, you need to thoroughly press something and specifically redo a lot of code.
Now in BGE, the only way to work with gigascreen is to separate the editing of screens and the general view.
In sum, I’ll think about it, but for the time being I don’t promise anything, all the more so since the revision of BGE has frozen in the spriter.
