Ah, but there is no shifting of pixels in my image, and the artefacts have nothing to do with that - it's just the way the C64 graphics are displayed on the real machine connected to a TV or Commodore/Philips monitor - you will never get a sharp image, colours that are close to eachother will always blend/bleed, and so you can mix colours even without the use of interlace, just by placing colours of a similar luminance close to eachother. My image uses the standard C64 multicolour bitmap mode with no programming tricks at all.

I want learn to drawing on C64, but my real C64 not so good for drawing.
What emulator of C64 and what graphic editor you use?
Can you give me a link to download them?
