во, нашёл пост про музыку из игры Beyond The Ice Palace
`The Speccy version of Beyond The Ice Palace has a very distinct duff note in the middle of one of the repeating sections of the tune that sounds awful and makes me cringe every time I hear it!

If you listen to the Atari ST version of the tune the note is played correctly despite it being otherwise identical (both machines being AY-powered and all).

I surmise it's just a glitch in the music data or something, but I'd love to hear it put right. `

в итоге вытащили музыку с atariST и сравнив данные нашли неправильный байт.
так что конверсии с ST действительно имели место быть.
