SQUARE MANIA use bad register I value (IM vector table in slow memory area).
Register I is set to #60 => IM2 table in memory #6000-#6100.
On real ZX Spectrum 128 / +2(grey) is this memory area contended with ULA and if register I is set to range #40-#7F then will active screen raining(snow effect)
Game on original ZX Spectrum 128 or +2
If you move vector table to fast memory (#8000-#BFFF) then game will work correct on all original ZX Spectrum 128 / +2 machines.

Bugs in PARADOXION game:
Register I is set to bad value(IM2 vector table can't be in slow memory area #4000-#7FFF). If IM2 table will move to fast memory #8000-#BFFF then game will work correct also on original ZX Spectrum 128/+2 models
And cursor is out of controll if kempston mouse is absent. (mouse driver read absent mouse ports
and ZX Spectrum return data from floating bus = #FF or ATTRIBUTE BYTE)
