why this clone use small rom chip ? Eprom only ? Price of new flash eprom 512kB is lower than price of 64kB eprom

old simm modules as main memory ? why ? Modern sram chips use 10-15 ns speed and 1MB (16 bit data bus) and price is alo very low. Package very small and can be used battery backup. And connection in clones is very easy (no need any refresh....)

Components selected on the basis of the objectives and conform to the task. In the West there is a problem with the choice of old components? In Russia this is not a problem, all components are available.
